Colonic Irrigation Testimonial

I had done a lot of research on colonic treatments and don't mind admitting that I was a little sceptical prior to my first visit. Would I be embarrassed? Would I suffer any pain? Dare I tell anyone I had been?

Any concerns I had were immediately dispelled on entering the Cleansing Rooms reception. It was like going into a Spa and I was greeted by Sammy who explained the process in a very straight forward manner and who made me feel completely comfortable. After completing a basic health questionnaire I was shown to a changing room which instead of being ' clinical ' as I had expected was in fact like a personal dressing area - very impressed.

I changed into a gown and was allowed to keep my top half clothing on - a towel protected my modesty whilst I then went into the adjoining treatment room. Again, nothing like I had expected. A really relaxing environment with soothing music - I would even be allowed to read a newspaper whilst the treatment was going on!!

Sammy explained how to insert the tube and how to set myself up for the treatment - I couldn't believe how simple it was and I was left in private to settle down. Sammy came back in and we got things in motion (literally!).

The treatment itself is why I was here and in all honesty I found the sensation of water filling me up quite soothing. I was worried about some reviews I had read which talked about stomach cramps etc but apart from an initial discomfort ( probably getting used to things ) I was fine.

Nothing seemed to happen for the first 10 minutes or so and my scepticism started to some back - all I could see in the viewing tube (you don't have to look if you don't want to) was clear water. And then, things started to happen.....I could feel my tummy rumbling and I then started to discharge. The sensation was strange at first but I could actually feel myself emptying.

At no time did I feel embarrassed and the first treatment left me wanting more.

Changed and back in reception I felt like I was floating. I had raced to the appointment from a business meeting in Huddersfield and had felt a little stressed. I can honestly say I felt chilled out and indeed the sensation stayed with me. I had one of the best night’s sleeps I have had for years.
I went back for a further two treatments and I am glad I did - each time more ' waste ' came out and I could feel myself feeling lighter inside. God knows what had built up inside me over the years but whatever it was it was coming out.

Having completed three treatments I feel qualified to pass on my own opinion. I feel more relaxed and definitely more alert. I no longer feel lethargic and I sleep a lot better, even though I thought I was sleeping well anyway. My stomach feels ' empty ' but in a positive way. I go to the toilet daily as opposed to 3 times per week.

I am a convert.

I will go for another course of treatment in few months time and I have recommended Sammy to work colleagues - I had no embarrassment discussing my treatments and indeed felt I wanted to tell the world!! "
